Return & Refund Policy

We understand that sometimes a piece may not feel quite right once it reaches you.

Change of Mind Returns

  • If you'd like to return your saree for any reason other than a product issue, you may request a return within 48 hours of delivery.
  • To initiate a return, email hello@nalivu.in or reply to the order confirmation email.
  • The saree must be unused, unworn, unwashed, free from stains or perfume, with original tags and packaging.
  • Return shipping charges for change-of-mind returns are the customer's responsibility.
  • After inspection, eligible returns are issued as store credit valid for 6 months.
  • No refunds for change-of-mind returns.
  • Only one return request per order.
  • Store credit is non-transferable and can be redeemed only on nalivu.in within 6 months of the date of issue.

 

Damaged, Defective, Incorrect or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or with missing items, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing hello@nalivu.in or by replying to your order confirmation email.

To help us verify the issue, your request must include:

  • A clear unboxing video recorded from the moment the sealed package is opened, without any cuts or edits.
  • Clear photographs of the product and the issue.

Claims for damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing items cannot be processed without a valid, continuous unboxing video.

As each saree is handcrafted and produced in limited quantities, an identical replacement may not always be available. In such cases, a full refund will be issued after verification.

Once your request has been verified:

  • We will arrange a replacement, subject to stock availability.
  • If a replacement is unavailable, a full refund will be issued.

For verified damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing items, Nalivu will bear all applicable shipping costs for the replacement or return process.

Important

  • Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the customer's responsibility.
  • Items that show signs of wear, washing, alterations, stains, perfume, or damage will not be eligible for return.
  • Nalivu bears all shipping costs for verified damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing items.
  • Requests raised after 48 hours of delivery will not be accepted.
  • Minor irregularities in print, dye, weave, or slight colour variations from website images are a natural characteristic of handcrafted textiles and are not considered defects.
  • Sale items, custom-made pieces, and gift cards (if applicable) are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit.
